⛳️【Interview Students】

  1. All students, new or old, who are eligible for an interview session, can select an Ajahn that he/she prefers for submission of homework.
  2. Please reconfirm the translation language required for your interview. Choose the language in which you are proficient in asking questions. If you can only ask and explain the questions in English, please be sure to choose English even if you can understand Chinese. Please choose carefully so that you can get the full benefit from your interview session. If you make the wrong choice, there may not be any suitable translator on site to assist you. Once a selection is made, it cannot be changed.
  3. Students can select the Ajahn they prefer to study with in order of priority.
  4. Method of Generating the Interview List:
    Each Ajahn has a fixed quota of interview slots. Students will be allocated to the Ajahns based on their first choice. If the quota has been exceeded, a draw will be conducted. If you are not selected in this draw, you will be allocated or subjected to another draw based on your second choice and so on.
  5. The final date and venue for each student's interview session will be determined by the organiser in consideration of the availability of bilingual translation, venue and equipment setup, and other factors.

 

⛳️【Non-Interview Students】

  1. Students can choose the Ajahn they prefer to study with (Do priorities your selection for an Ajahn who is suitable for your  disposition and spiritual temperament).
  2. A draw will be conducted if the quota for a particular Ajahn's group has been exceeded.
  3. Method of Generating the Non-Interview List:
    Each Ajahn has a fixed quota of non-interview students. Students will be allocated to the Ajahns based on their first choice. If the quota has been exceeded, a draw will be conducted. If you are not selected in this draw, you will be allocated or subjected to another draw based on your second choice and so on.

 

⛳️【Students Requiring English Translation】

  1. As there are limited English translators, students who require English translation will attend all sessions in the Main Hall throughout the entire retreat where English translation is available.
  2. Interview students may choose an Ajahn who is suitable for their disposition and spiritual temperament. As above, a draw will be conducted if the quota for a particular Ajahn’s group has been exceeded.

Please complete the submission by Saturday, 27 January 2024. Submission after the deadline will be deemed as a forfeiture of opportunity and acceptance of organiser’s arrangements.
