☘️【Medium of Instruction】

Teachings will be delivered in Thai with English and Chinese translations.

☘️【Retreat Format】

▌In-person — On-site retreat with available slots for meditation interviews.

▌Online — Retreat conducted via Zoom with cameras off; no slots for meditation interviews are available.

☘️【Admission Quota】

▌In-person:

• 500 participants (298 meditation interview slots)
• New students capped at 60% of total participants.

▌Online:

• 500 participants (No meditation interview slots)

☘️【Retreat Venue】

Hotel in Selangor, Malaysia

The hotel is approximately 50km away from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 and 2. The organizer may arrange airport transfers for overseas students when necessary.

☘️【Food and Accommodation Fees】

▌Retreat teachings are given free of charge.

▌Online students incur no additional costs.

▌In-person students are responsible for covering their own hotel, meals, and airport transfer expenses.

▌Due to the high number of applicants, single occupancy will not be available for this retreat unless surplus rooms become available. Please ensure you are comfortable with this arrangement before proceeding with registration.

▌The cost of meals and accommodation is approximately RM2xxx per person (around USD $5xx). Detailed information will be provided upon acceptance.

☘️【In-Person Retreat Requirements】

⛳️ Returning Students

Eligible to apply and have the opportunity for a meditation interview with the teachers if he/she has:

▌Previously participated in any of the following retreats conducted according to the method taught by Venerable Luangpu Pramote Pamojjo

 Malaysian Satipatthana Meditation Retreat
China Study Group
 Taiwan Satipatthana Meditation Retreat
 Online Satipatthana Meditation Retreat

⛳️ New Students

Eligible to apply and have the opportunity for a meditation interview with the teachers if he/she:

 Has not previously participated in any in-person or online Satipatthana Meditation Retreat conducted according to the method taught by Venerable Luangpu Pramote Pamojjo,

Has listened to or watched at least 30 sessions of teachings by Venerable Luangpu Pramote Pamojjo. Applicants who do not meet this requirement will not be considered for admission.

⛳️ Common Requirements for In-Person Returning and New Students

▌All accepted in-person new and returning students are required to attend a five-week Pre-Retreat Cultivation Sessions, listening to designated teachings. Students with an attendance rate below 70% may risk losing their enrollment status.

▌Students must be in good physical and mental health, stay on-site, and participate fully in the entire retreat.

▌Students must unconditionally accept the organizer’s arrangements if the guiding teacher determines they are no longer suitable to continue.

☘️【Online Retreat Requirements】

Returning and new students who meet the following criteria may register but will not be eligible for a meditation interview with the teacher:

 Have listened to or watched at least 30 sessions of teachings by Venerable Luangpu Pramote Pamojjo.

Notes:

▌Participation in the Pre-Retreat Cultivation Session is optional.

▌Full attendance in all sessions is required for the retreat to count as a completed participation.

【Registration Guidelines】

▌Admission confirmations will be sent via email by late January 2025. Kindly check both your inbox and spam folder.

▌Admissions are based on eligibility, not on a first-come, first-served basis.

▌Submission of the registration form does not guarantee admission. Please refrain from purchasing an air ticket until your admission is confirmed. The guiding teacher reserves the final discretion on all admission decisions.

▌During the retreat, lay students are not required to observe the Eight Precepts but are expected to voluntarily observe the Five Precepts.

▌The entire retreat will be audio and video recorded for Dhamma sharing. Requests to delete personal meditation interviews from any recordings or photos shared online will not be accommodated. Please register only if you are comfortable appearing in recordings.

▌Due to various restrictions, the organizer cannot accommodate unadmitted individuals or provide services beyond the retreat, such as lodging for personal practice before or after the retreat, family accommodations, or travel arrangements.

▌Unadmitted family members are not permitted to stay or participate in the retreat.
