Event Registrations

Cancellation, Rescheduling or Refusal by Shi Ne Ling Monastery

Shi Ne Ling monastery reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event due to low enrollment, inclement weather, or other circumstances. If Shi Ne Ling cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. If Shi Ne Ling Monastery reschedules an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer their registration to the same event at the new date. Shi Ne Ling Monastery also reserves the right to refuse or cancel reservations. If Shi Ne Ling Monastery refuses or cancels a registration, registrants will be offered a full refund.

Cancellation by Participant

Due to the variety of events produced by Shi Ne Ling Monastery, cancellation policies vary and are generally listed on the event description pages on shineling.org. If no cancellation policy is specified on the event description page, the registrant may request a full refund, if notice of the cancellation is received via email to shineling118@gmail.com prior to date of the event.

Shi Ne Ling Monastery Learning Online Registrations and Subscriptions

Online Course Cancellation by Participant

Registrants may request a refund for any standalone online course by sending a request to shineling118@gmail.com within the late registration period noted on the course description page (typically seven (7) days after the start of the course). After the late registration period has ended, no refunds or transfers are provided for online courses.

Online Subscription Cancellation

Online subscriptions are billed monthly. Subscribers can cancel at any time. There are no refunds or transfers available for online subscriptions.

Online Store Purchases

Returns

Online store purchases may be returned within 30 calendar days of the date they are received. To be eligible for a refund, items must be returned in the condition they were received, in the original packaging. Returned items must include a receipt or other proof of purchase. You are responsible for paying return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Refunds

When we receive your item, we will notify you on the status of your return. If your return is approved, we will refund your credit card or the original method of payment. How quickly you receive a credit to your account will depend on your card issuer’s policies.
