Some people have wondered since childhood:
“Why were we born?”
These individuals possess a spiritual foundation.
Their minds have begun to seek wisdom,
longing to understand the purpose of life.
Born just to eat?
To sleep?
To play?
To study?
To work?
To marry?
To raise children and grandchildren?
To die?
Life, seen this way,
seems utterly meaningless.
In truth,
we were born to elevate our minds
toward liberation from suffering.
That is our true task.
